Roadmap
Product roadmap
Where ctrlv.page is going and what it has shipped since the first release in August 2026. Plans are listed in order of priority, not as fixed dates.
Last updated
The short version
The paste inbox is live and in daily use. The next stage adds optional AI help for organizing and finding what you saved.
- Now: polish for categories and card windows.
- Next: opt-in AI-assisted organizing and search, plus deeper search without AI.
- Shipped: more than twenty releases between August and October 2026.
Now
- Refine categories and desktop card windows based on daily use.
- Design and privacy review for the first AI-assisted features.
Next: AI-assisted organizing and search
We plan to start this work in the coming weeks. Each feature below will be optional and off by default.
- Ask in plain language. Find an item by describing it, such as “the curl command for the staging API from last week”, even when you do not remember the exact words.
- Suggested categories and titles. New items get a proposed category and a short title that you can accept or ignore.
- Organize pipeline. A review step that groups related items, points out duplicates, and proposes a cleanup. No item changes until you approve it.
- Summaries for long content. A short summary for long logs, documents, and PDFs so you can tell items apart at a glance.
- Deeper search without AI. Combine filters for type, category, date, and source, and save searches you repeat often.
Later
- Map connections based on meaning, in addition to shared words.
- Full acceptance testing on Windows for the installed app.
How we will add AI
- AI features are off until you turn them on.
- Before a feature sends any item to an AI model, the app will say what is sent and to which provider.
- Everything that works today keeps working without AI.
- We will update the Privacy Policy before any AI feature is released.
